This is my extremely private home page ;-) You could find information about myself, as my interests, my hobbies, my education and my personal opinions about things like internet, entertainment, life styling and so on.

General description of myself:

I am 25 years of age male. I born on 21 of Octomber 1975 in Maroussi, Athens. I am student in National Technical University of Athens ;-( I am studing electrical engineering and computer science and I am currently in the 9th semester. I am intersted in computer communications and networks (software and hardware part). I am student here in NTUA since March 96. Before I was student in Polytechnics faculty in Bucharest, Romania (PUB -- Politehnica Universitatea Bucuresti). I made my first two years there. I was studying in English speaking department. The languages that I can speak is English and Romanian (Greek=mother tongue).

My hobbies/interests are:

Photography: I love photography. I am an amateur and specialy I am interested in black and white photography. People that know me know better! I have a Minolta X-9 model (manual) camera and my favourite lens is the 50/1.7 (a minolta one). Recently I sold my PENTIUM and I bought an used Nikon FM2 camera with 50/1.8 Nikon lens. I have in my home my own private dark room. I am also member of a local student club in Athens. My passion is street life and portraits. I also travel a lot and I always combine travelling & photographing.

Sports: Some of my favourite sports are.. skiing, swimming, climbing to mountains and running.

Cinema: I like good movies. A very nice movie that I saw last months is the Underground. General speaking I don't like at all action movies like the hollywood ones. I am interested on independent films director's movies.

Music: I like several kinds of music. The last year I started to be interested in Greek music. A radio station that is one of my favourite is the Melodia FM100. I love worldwide traditional music. One of my favourites records are music from Peru, Ireland and Balkans. If you have some worldwide traditional records please leave me an e-mail. .

Traveling: I love traveling. I enjoy meeting new people from other countries, having different nationalities, different temperament and another style of living. Travelling relax me and give me new experiences. I always combine travelling with taking photos (look at the section of photography above). Places that I visited are Canada (Montreal city in Quebeque), USA (New York city), Romania (Bucharest I stayed 2 years but I visited many cities in Romania; I never visited Moldova and I want to do it in the future). The summer(96) I visited Czech Republic, Netherlands and Belgium. I loved Antwerp and Leuven from Belgium and Amsterdam from Netherlands. Last monthes I have been to former Yugoslavian states (Slovenia, Croatia, Bosna i Hertegovina, Serbia, Fyrom) but also in Hungary, Slovakia, Poland. In the period of spring-summer(97) I have been to Ukraina (Lviv, Kiev) and Lithuania (Kaunas, Vilnius, Palanga etc). In November 97 I was visiting Constantinoupolis (Istanbul), Ankara and the zone of Cappadocia in Turkey. What did I achieve until now from all my travel experience?? Greece is very beautiful country!! Greece doesn't has a strong economy but we have the sun shining for free. My country has one of the most famous and important histories worldwide. Also a useful www site for people like traveling is www.city.net.

Computers: I run in the past several BBS systems. Before leaving Greece for studing in Romania I run for two years (1991-1992) the Metal Mutant BBS, which changed the name to Ermis Mail Distribution System (1993-1995) when I left for Romania. In the Romania on 1 Octomber 1993 I established the first open BBS system (in Romania) called Xenios BBS which worked all the time that I was in Romania (1993-1995). The important in that fact is that the first open BBS in Romania was a Greek BBS. From March 96 (when I took the transfer here in NTUA) I run a mail system with same name with my old BBS in Romania (this is Xenios BBS) at tel: 8050723 but it is only for FidoNET netmails (my address in FidoNET is 2:410/114). FidoNET is an international amateur e-mail network working under fido specifications technology. All the BBSes that I had in the past were members of FidoNET.
